LADIES’ PURSE Of 20 sovereigns. Welter weights for age. Gentlemen riders. Distance one mile and a quarter. Entrance £1 10s. CONSOLATION STAKES. Of 15 sovereigns, for all beaten horses No weight under 9st. Distance one mile and a half. Entrance 10s. RULES AND REGULATIONS. Mares and geldings allowed 311). Three entries for each race or no event. No entries will be received for any race in the above programme except upon this condition: That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards (or whom they may appoint) The decision of the Stewards on all points to be final. No person shall be allowed to enter or rum a horse unless a subscriber of not less than £2 2s. to the Race Fund. Post entries in all races except the Town Plate and St. Bathan’s Cup. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes for expenses. Any person entering a protest must, in the first instance, deposit the sum of £2 with the Secretary, and should such protest, in the opinion of the Stewards, be frivolous, the deposit will be forfeited and added to the Race Fund.
