DUNSTAN JOCKEY CLUB.

The annual general meeting of the Dunstan District Jockey Club was held at the Clyde Hotel, on Thursday, the 3rd inst. : James Hazlett, Esq., Vice-President, in rhe Chair - .

The Treasurer read his yearly report, showing a balance in favor of the Club of £123 Bs. Bd. The report was adopted and instructions given that it should be audited, and also that an abstract of accounts be published in the “Duustau Times.’’—(See advertisement.)

The Vice-President stated that, by the efluxion of time, the Committee ceased to hold office, and it was therefore necessary that a new Committee be appointed for the en uing year.

The Chairman then vaoated the chair, but was unanimously re-elected. On the motion of Mr Cox, seconded by Mr. Fraser, a vote of thanks was recorded to the retiring Commitee for their able and efficient management of the Club during past year. The following gentlemen were elected a Committee of Management for the ensuing year Messrs. Hazlett, Fraser, Turnbull, Glassford, Shaw, Grindley, Christophers, M‘Moran, Smitham, Stewart, Douglas, and Fache.

It was suggested by Mr. Grindley that a presentatiod ahoul I be made to Mr. J. G. G, Glassford, who is leaving the district. It was, however, ruled that there were no funds available for such a purpose.

A vote of thanks to the chairman closed the proceedings.

Subsequently to the above, a meeting of the Committee took place. Present: Messrs. Hazlett (in the chair), M ‘Moran, Grindley, Turnbull, Christophers, and Shaw. Mr. William Fraser was duly elected President: Mr, James Hazlebt, Vice-Presi-dent ; Mr. A. Christophers, Treasurer ; Mr. R. Harlow, Secretary ; Messrs. Jones and Campbell, Auditors; and Messrs, G. Fache, R. M‘Moran, and W. Grindley, tins tees.

The usual vote of thanks was passed and the meeting adjourned.
