THE undersigned hereby inform the residents on their runs in the Manunerikia District that they will be prepared to grant to every lonafide miner, storekeeper, and' tradesman located or working on their runs the right and privilege of running two cows and their calves free of charge. No person will hereafter be allowed to run large herds of cattle on those runs under the pretext of their being required for the dairy supplies of the residents thereon; but the right to depasture a sufficient number of cows for the bona-fide supply of the residents can be arranged for at the rate of 10s. per head per annum, exclusive of the Government assessment. Personal application for these rights to be made at the head station on the Ist day of May nest. The owners of all cattle so to be depastured must register their brands and descriptions.
