T Hereby give notice that I have this day applied to the Warden, at Black’s for a Lease of Land for Agricultural Purposes, situate on Black’s Elat, at rear of Shamrock Hotel, near the lower ferry crossing, Manuherikia river, adjoining MTntosh and Mee’s arm, comprising twenty-five acres or thereabouts, in accordance with the Agricultural Leases Kogulations of the 12th clay of February, 1868, made under the Goldfields Act, 1866. No person will hereafter be allowed to run large herds o{ cattle on these runs under the pretext of their being required for the dairy supplies of the residents thereon ; but the right to depasture a sufficient number of cows for the bona-fide supply of the residents can be arranged for at the rate of in s . per head per annum, exclusive of the Government assessment.
