RULES AND REGULATIONS. Mares and geldings allowed 31b No entries will be received for any of the above races except upon this condition : i uai iju oi3piii.es, eiaims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint—their decision upon all points shall be final. No person shall bo allowed to enter or run a horse for any race in the above programme (post entry races excepted) unless a subscriber of not less than L2 2s. to the race fund. Entries to be received by the Secretary, at the Victoria Hotel, Mount Ida, before 8 p.m. on the loth February, 1809, entrance money enclosed, with name, age, pedigree (if any) of the horse, name of the owner, colors of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined LI Is. Five per cent, deducted from the gross amount of all stakes for < xpensos. Horses walking over will receive 50 per cent, of the stakes. The Mount I 'a Jockey Club Rules will bo Strictly enforced. N.B.
