Marchioness, an own sister to Tow ton and dam of Fishook, won the Oaks in 1855, and the Marquis, a son of Cinizelli, by Stockwell, won the Two Thousand Guineas in 1862 ; ran second for the Derby, for which he was first favorite; and won the St. Ledger. Good grazing paddocks provided for mares, and every care taken, but no responsibility. One mare out of every five given in to bona-fide owners. Terms, Five Guineas, groomage included. Don was got by Gil Bias, out of Penelope, by the imported Desert Arab Ajah Baba; g. cl, by the celebrated race-horse Grenadier. Don Quixote is too well known to need comment, the proprietor deeming it sufficient to state that he is in splendid health and first-class coudiiition.
