CLYDE TOWN COUNCIL.

Cr M'Connochie proposed That the Council disposed the prerent Town Hall and Council Chambers, and erect a new building on the reserve. Seconded by Cr. Feraud Cr. Hastie proposed as an amendment, That the present buildings be sold and a suitable one erected on its site. Seconded by Cr. Cambridge and carried. On'the motion of Cr. M.Conpochie, it was resolved. That the Council memorialise his Honor the Superintendent, praying that, the head quarters of the District Engineer be at Clyde. Seconded by Cr. Atkins and carried. ; . It was resolved, That the meetings of the Council in future be held on Wednesdays and not on Fridays as formerly. Propose ! by Cr. Hastie, secondel by Cr. Zieleand carried, That tenders be called' for the purchase of the Town Hair and Council Chambers. Vote to the chair closed the meeting;
