DUNSTAN JOCKEY CLUB.

A meeting of the Committee of th e Dunstan Jockey Club was held at Ryan's Bendigo Hotel, Clyde, on Monday evening, the sth inst. Present: Messrs, W. Fraser (President), Hazlett, Christophers, Glass ford, Turnbull, Stewart, M'Morran, and Barlow (Secretary). The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. The inward and outward correspondence was read and adopted. Proposed by Mr. Hazlett, seconded by Mr Turnbull That Mr. E. de B. Campbell be elected an auditor, vice Mr. R. Barlow re. tigned. Carried. Proposed by Mr. Turnbull, seconded by Mr. Glassford, That the Dunstan Jockey Club Annual Race Meeting be held on the 28th and 29th of January, 1569. An amendment, by Mr. Christophers, was put, and carried, That the meeting be on the 4th and sth of February. The notice of motion in Mr. Smitham's name was ordered to stand over till the ne::fc meeting. Accounts to the amount of £7 3s. Id. were passed for payment. The Treasurer rer/orted a balance in hand of £l6O. Mr. W. Grindley was elected a member of committee, vice Mr. Bennett left the district. Proposed by Mr. Christophers, seconded by Mr, Hazlett That the next meeting of Comraittae be held at the Clyde Hotel, on the 16th of November, for the purpose o* dra\> ing up Programme, appointing Handi" cappers, and other business. Carried. Vote of thanks to the Chair terminated tho proceedings.
