DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL
The monthly meeting of the Committee was held iu the Council Chambers on Tuesday the 7th inst. Present, H. W. Robinson, Esq., President, W. FraserEsq,, Vice President, and Messrs Hazlett, M'Connochie, Naylor, Beck, Fache. Grindley, Hastie, A. Christoohers, Honorary Treasurerand R. Barlow, Secretary. The minutes of previous [meeting were read and confirmed. Tho visiting Committee's report, recommending payment of accounts amounting to £1 IS 19 10 was real and ordered to be adopted. On the proposition of Mr. Grind ley, seconded by Mr. Beck, it was resolved, That in future all orders for supplies other than goods tendered for, be signed by ■* one or more members of the visiting Committee. The Treasurer's report, showing an overdraft at Bank of £lB2 ISs, and the sum of £1,20.'i 2s. ] hi. due as subsidy from tho Government, was read and received. The House Surgeon's report, showing the average number of patients ill the Hospital for the month to be fifteen, and fourteen out Patients, was read and received. The collector laid on the table the requisite Bond, which was approved of. Mersrs Grindley, M'Pherson and Fache were elected the Visiting Committee for the current month. The Secretary handed in a Tender for Printing 200 Rules of the Institution in Pamphlet fonn:,price £9, and 500 recommendation forms, price £2. On the motion of Mr. Hazlett, seconded by Mr. Christophers, the Tender was accepted. Proposed by Mr. M'Pherson, seconded by Mr. Eraser and carried, That the Fades be soil at one shilling each. Ist July, and that in future a monthly list be prepared and advertised. Carrie 1 . The Secretary was instructed to forward to the Secratarics of each of the Local Committees a Copy of tho Newspaper in which such list appears. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
