June 9. (Boforo H. W. Robinson Esq., Warden.) Three applications for Agricultural Leases were heard and granted. Marshall and Co. v Alexander.—Claim for La 0s Od, balance of account for hire of water. Defendant did not appear ; plaintiffs proved their case by the production of an 1.0. U., for which the amount claimed, was a balance. Judgment for Plaintiffs, with the proviso, that should defendant dasira it within eight days, a re-hearing of the c.isc should be granted. (Resident Magistrate's Court.) Hazlett v Alexander. Struck out; no service of summons. Elliott v Duff.—Claim for L2 7s Od, proportion of expense.-' incurred in recovering cattle. The defancc set up, was a most vexatious one. Defendant had agreed to pay his share of the expenses incurred by Plaintiff in recovery of some lost cattle, but wdienthey ware fount, refused to do so. Verdict for amount claimed, and costs Execution to issue in seven days.
