: (To the Editor of the Dcn-stan Times.) j Sir,—Seeing a notice in your valuable : ami impartial journal, that some individual | has written to the Duncdin " Evening Star, " and which that journal styles as a "reliableauthority " respecting irregularities in the management of the business of this Corporation. I beg most respectfully to ask the individual in question, who is I believe a resident at Clyde, to come forward bol ly, and make public through the columns of your newspaper, or by letter to myself the irregularities of which he complains. Allow me Sir, further to state that the public are always admissable to the meetings of tho Council, and that lite books and documents in connexion with that body cats at any time be inspected by the Ratepayers.
