CROMWELL TOWN COUNCIL.
A special meeting of the Council was held ntihe School House, on Friday, the 20th inst, Present: Councillors Kidd, WhetJ tet. and Edwards. Cr. Kidd occupied the chair. Proposed by Cr. Whetter, seconded by Cr. Edwards, and carried, That the standing orders be suspended. Proposed by Cr. Whetter, That £lO be paid to the School Committee for the u«e of the School House. Seconded by Cr. Edwards, and carried. Tho tender of Messrs. Guthrie and Barr, Contract No. 1, kerbing and forming footpaths in Melmore-street, was taken into i consideration, and referred to the Public ! Works Committer. This concluded the business of the meeting.
