LATEST INTELLIGENCE.
BY ELECTRIC T. LEGRAPH. (from our own courespoxdent.) DUNEDIN, Nov. 2C. The steamer Geelong, with th e Government Exploring Expeditior, will proceed to Martin's Bay, on the West Coast, on Thursday next, the oth of December. His Honor the Superintendent and the Secretary for Land and Works will accompany the expedition. The Dunedin Water-works are to b3 formally opened on the 7th of December. It is anticipated that the d:iy will be observed as a general holiday.
