A meeting ot the committee of the Dunstan District Hospi ;il was held at the Town Hall on '1 uesday last, the 19th inst. Present. Messrs Hazlett, Zielo, Beck, Marshall, Ryan, iiastie. ami L. W. Carter, Secretary. Mr. Hazlett occupied the chair. Minutes of previous meeting read and continued. In the absence of the honorary Treasurer, the Secrataiy read the financial report, showing a balance in hand of «£BSO 2s lOd, and lo'Ou - 13s od as subsidy, due from tho Government. The Treasurers and Visiting Committees' reports were adopted. The Secretary was instructed to convene a special meeting for Wednesday the 27th inst. at 6 p.m.. The usual vote to the Chair terminated the proceedings. A meeting ef tho Committee of the Dunstan i istaict Jockey Club was held at Park's Hartley Arms Hotel, Clyde, ou Wednesday evening last, to receive nominations for the Handicap races ; in all, sixteen horses were nominated. A meeting of stewards was held at the same time and place, and appointed handicappers. For the names of horses entered, and weights handicapped, we refsr oar re .ders to the advertising columns.
