TOWN COUNCIL, CLYDE.

I The usual fortnightly meeting of the Town Council took place at the Council ('hambers, Clyde, on Tuesday evening the L'ilth October. Present, J. 1). Ferattd, .Mayor, and Councillors Hazlett, Cambridge M'Ooimoehie, Goodwin, Shaw, and Ryan. The minutes of the previous meeting were read anil confirmed. Correspondence was read and received. The Valuators report was referred back to them for further information. The report of Public Works Committee was read and received. The tender of Wm. Insley, for removing debris from West side of Sunderland Stroet £lGlosod, accepted. Proposed by Councillor Ryan, seconded by Councillor Cambridge,—"That the resig nation of J. D. Feratul Esq. May.sr, as tendered at the last meeting be accepted." Carried. The meeting adjourned till the ,'!oth. at 1 a. m,
