DUNSTAN JOCKEY CLUB.

A meeting of the committee was held at Jack's Sydney Hotel, Clyde, on Monday evening the 1 i-tli iust. Present, \V. Praser Esq. President, Mr. .1. Ilazlett, vice President, M. Marshall, Secretary, A Christophers, Treasurer and Messrs Glassford, Loughnan, Faeho, M'Moran, Grinloy, ■Jack, and Dr. Shaw. Mr- Loughnan in the Chair. Mr. Frazer in opening the proceedings, said, as an informality existed in the election of President and Vice President, he felt it his duty to resign ; these officers, according to the rules must be elected by the Committee, whereas they had been elected by the subscribers, he tendered his resignation with the sole view that the busi mess of (lie Committee, in fact of the Club should be carried on strictly according to the Pules. Ilazlett- vice President. Mr. Loughnan vacated the Chair, in favor of the President. The minutes of the last Committee meeting were read and confirmed. The following otl'cers were elected : Mr. K, M'Moran, clerk of the Course. Mr. W. Grindlev, Starter. 11. W. Robinson Esq. Judge and Messrs M' Moran Grindlev ami Fnche, Trustees. Proposed by Mv. Christophers, seconded by Mr. Loughnan,—That the Trustia\s lie empowered to purchase hurdles and incur such other cxpence in connection with the Grand-stand as they may deem necessary. Carried. The following seven gentlemen were elected by ballot to act as Stewards for the ensuing Pace meeting ; Messrs J. G. Gordon Glassford, P. Loughnan, J. Ilazlett, P. Tumbull, Charles ShaW

M.D., J. A. Douglass, and 11. S. TLompson. Proposed by Dr. Shaw, seconded l>y Ms.". Loughnan,—That a sub-commit-tee, consisting of Messrs Fraser, Chritophers, Fache Grindley, and the Secretary do draw up the Programing, and arrange for printing the same. Proposed by Mr. Grindley, seconded by Mr. Loughnan ; —That the nomination of Horses for the ensuing Paces do take place on Tuesday the 2Gth Nov. at Hawthorne's Clyde Hotel.— Carried. Proposed by Mr. Christophers, seconded by Mr. Loughnan and carried; That the next Committee meeting be held at Winstanley's National Hotel, Clyde, on Monday, the 28' th Oct. The usual vote to the Chair concluded the proceedings.
