DUNSTAN HOSPITAL.
A meeting ot the Committee was held at the Council (lhamber, Clyde, on the 3rd hist. Present : Messrs. If. W. Robinson (President). A. Christophers (Hon. Treasurer), Beck, Auckland, Hastie, Frasor, Ryan, Ziele, and L. W. Cartel- (Secretary). The minutes of the previous moot ing were read and confirmed. The report of the "Visiting Committee was read and received. Accounts amounting to £l7O 10s. sd. were passed for payment. The Treasurer's report, showing an overdraft at the Rank of £'l74 os. Od. and £1,755 13s. sd. subsidy dim from the Government, was read and received. Proposed by Mr. Christophers, and seconded by Mr. Hastie, That the Secretary write to the Provincial Government for the amount of the subsidy now due, at the same time calling the attention of the Provincial Treasurer to the over-draft at the bank. Carried. Proposed by Mr. Hastie, seconded by .Mr. Ryan, and carried, That the resignation of Mr. .!. I). Feraud, a-; Vice-president, be accepted. Proposed by Mr. Christophers (in the adsence<of Mr. Grumitt), Thatthe Secretary be remunerated by a salary of -250 per annum during the term of office of this Committee. Seconded by Mr. Auckland, and carried. Proposed by -Mr. Fraser. seconded by Mr. Hastie, and carried, That a pecinl meeting of the shareholders hesealled toeonsider the subject of private practice. «fce.—(See advertisement.) Mr. Hazlctt gave notice to move, at tli" next meeting, That a sub-Com-mittee, consisting of Messrs. Fraser, Beck, and the mover, he appointed t>> canvas the town and neighborhood of Clyde for subscriptions. The usual vote of thanks to the chair concluded the proceedings.
