WARDEN'S COURT, CLYDE.

(Befor W. 11. Robinson Esq, Warden.) Tuesday, 27th. August. The adjourned ease of Alexander v Edwin Jones came on for heareng, hut was adjourned till the 17tli Sept. Atkins v Jones—lllegally constructing a head race ; this ease had been previously before the Court, but had not been brought to a definite issue by the litigants ; the defendant had applied upon this occasion for leave to construct or alter a certain head race, but had failed to obtain a certificate for the same, notwithstanding that, he made the alteration. The warden -herefore decided he had no right to the race in question, and was adjudged to pay a line of twenty shillings and seventeen shillings, costs.
