The- annual General Meeting of the members of the Dunstan Jockey Club, was held at Ryan's Bemligo Hotel, on Monday last, the 27th inst. About twenty persons were present. Mr B. P. Bailey was "lected to the < hair. | Proposed by Mr Beck, seconded by Dr I Shaw "That the financial statement of -lie past year be drawn up, and after being duly audited, published in the Local Journal "—Carried. Votes of thanks were accorded to the 'Eetiri' g President, Stewards and Officers, for the efficient and energetic manner the business of the Cub had been carried on [during their term of office. Tiie following gentlemen were elected Tor the ensuing year.—President, Mr Wni [Fraser, Vice President, Mr Jas. Hazlett. 'Committee. —Messrs M'Morran, Smitham ■LonsrnaD, Glassfoi'd, Grindley, Douglas {Jack, Fache, Jones, Bailey, Christophers, 'and Dr Shaw.—Treasurer, Mr A. Chrisitophers.—Secretary, Mr M. Marshall. [Auditors, Messrs Jones and Barlow. ] Proposed by Mr B. P, Bailey, "That I,the sum of Fifteen guineas be paid to the tor services during the ensuing jyear "—Seconded by Mr Jack and carLied. f Proposed by Mr Grindley, seconded by i'Mr Bailey, "That five members form a ■.quorum."—Carried. \ The Secretary was instructed to address to the members of the Club, iniforming them that their subscriptions are I , snow mie. 9 Proposed by Mr Smitliam, seconded by JMr Grindley, "That the Club adopt the SVictorian "weight for ago" instead of 'the Otago " weight for age '.
