TOWN COUNCIL, CLYDE.

The usual fortnightly meeting of the Council was held on Tuesday evening last Present, the' Mayor, and Councillors Ha? Lett, Cambridge, Goodwin, Cope and Ryan Minutes of last meeting was read and confirmed. Correspondence read and received. Tenders for curbing and channeling Sunderland Street, were received as follows; viz.—lt.; B. Tally, £2O 18s Od per chain, George Macassar, £l3 lOsOd per chain, James Sutherland £l3 per chain Edward M'Manners, £8 per chain, Fras, Daykin, £S 10s I'd per chain. Mr Daykin's tender was accepted. 'Accounts amounting .to £2l 12s2d were passed for payment. A vote of thanks to the Chair concluded the proceedings. 3
