Messrg Kichingham and Roberts have brought into the Gorge from the Soaring Meg, one of tho best races constructed in the Cromwell district, and the party are greatly pleased '"with the result of their arduous uhdeitahing. To bring a race over hills and dales requires much enerpy and patience, and mariy domestic discomforts must be foregone to complete such a work. Messrs Thomas and Tippett'a water race a short distance above the Town of Cromwell, is producing hndsome returns.
