RECEPTION OF THE GOVERNOR.
The follow ing programme will ba observed for the reception of his Excellency the Governor. The Mayor, Councillor.!, Reception Committee, and all persona conuscted with the Corporator together with thoao who may choose to join, will meet his Excellency at GibVs half way House, escorting him on his way to Clyde. At Thorabury's, the Mayor and councillor?, will take the short route, and proceed to Clyda in anxanco of tho Governor. Upon reaching Dairy Flat, about a quarter of a mile from Clyde, a procession in the followinp order will be formed Marshal. Mounted Troopers. Governor and Suite. Members of Reception Committee. Horsemen. Mayor, and Resident Magistrate. Friendly Societies. Citizens on foot. Carriage, with printing press, distributing addresses. Citizen:! on foot. Chinese. At the Triumphal Arch at the entrance of Sun dcrland Street, the Mayor will receive the Governor, welcoming him in the name of the citizens. At he same place the cnildren attending the Day and Sunday Schools, will be drawn uj in line, when His Excellency will )>e presented with a bouquet of flowers by a little girl.
