TOWN COUNCIL, CLYDE.
The usual fortnightly meeting of the Council was ueld in the Council l hambers on Tuesday evening, the sth inst. Fresent, J. I\ Feraud» Mayor, and Councillors Byan, Cambridge, Goodwin, and M Connochie. The minutes of the last fortnightly meeting, also of the Bjiecial mcetingr held on the 22nd. and 24th. January, and Ist. and 2%d. of February, were read and confirmed. The inward correspondence, comprising,
one letter from Mr Miller, and one from Mr M'«. luskey were read. Proposed by l ouncillor Goodwin, and seconded by Councillor Cambridge,— " That Mr Millers letter be received, and the one from Mr M'Cluskey, be referral to Finance Committee."—Carried. Proposed by Councillor Cambridge, and seconded by Councillor Goodwin,—" That the Auditors report, as read be received." Carried. Proposed by Councillor Ryan, and seconded by Councillor Cambridge,—"J hat the tenders for kerbh,g and channeling Sunderland Street, stand over. With the customary vote to the Chair, the meeting was adjourned.
