The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (limited) held their usual weekly wool sale to-day, when an important. eatalon-uo of .some 4300 bales was offered and 3000 sold. There was tho usual large attendance of buyers. Competition is increasing-, and the market ia firmer for good merinos; inferior greasy crossbreds arc slightly easier. Other wools are unchanged. At to-day's sale greasy merinos sold up to lid; greasy crossbreds up to ll]d ; scoured merinos to 19|d.
