The ontward passengers were taken off to the' U.S.S. Company's s.s. Wairarapa, Captain H. W. H. Chatfield, at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, the vessel steaming on her. course for Southern ports and Melbourne'at about 3 p.m. i The s.s. Wairoa, .Captain H. Anderson, took her departure for Wairoa on Sunday morning, taking a good cargo and a number of passencers. ■'■'" The steamer Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, from Wellington and the const arrived here at 5 30 a.m. yesterday, and was berthed inside at the breastwork later on. She left Wellington at 6 o'clock on Friday _ni<rbt, landed "passengers and cargo at Castle Point on Saturday morning, and arrived here as above. She has a full cargo for this port, including a considerable amount of transhipment stuff out of the Ruapehu, Latterworth, Pleione and Trovcllion. The Kiwi is to steam again for Wellington and the coast at 5 o'clock to-night. Tho Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana, Captain Carey from Melbourne and Southern ports leaves Wellington at 4 o'clock this afternoon,: and as it will take her all her time to reach here by 8 a.m. tomorrow, the hour for tho last launch to leave tho wharf will have to be fixed for a later hour.
, The Shaw Savill and Albion Company's ship Euterpe, 1197 tons, Capt. Hoyle, cleared at tho Customs for London on Saturday, and now ouly wants a favorable slant of wind to sail. She is the first wool "ship of the season from this port, and we believe tho first from the colony.
