No person allowed to enter a horse unless he is a subscriber of at least ono guinea to tho club. No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all idnims, disputes, and objections arising shall bo decided by tho Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall bo final. All protests to be accompanied with a deposit of five guineas, to bo forfeited if the protest is not sustained. Three horses to start in each raco, or only half the money will be given. "Hack" shall mean a horse that has never started in a weight-for-age or handicap race. Nominations for tho Maiden Plato (with age of horses and colors of riders), Handicap Hurdle Race, W.C.R.C. Handicap, and he Railway Handicap, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be left with the Secretary at Kaikora not later than S p.m. on tho 29th of November. Weights will appear on the 6th of December. Acceptances for the Handicap Hurdle Race, W.C.R.C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, and colors of riders, must be left with the Secretary not' later than 8 p m. on tho 17th of December^ Five per cent, deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. The successful tenderer will require to find two sureties, to be approved by tho Defence Minister, of two hundred and fifty pounds (£250) each, for the due performance of the contract.
