The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (limited) report as follows :— We held our weekly sale thi.s morning at 10.30, and disposed of 1351 sheepskins and 4 hides at the following prices: — Sheepskins.—Merino dry, good 6d to 7{d per lb, medium, 4-Jd to s,' y d, inferior 3£-d to 4jd ; : crossbred dry, good 6dto sgd, medium 3d to 4M ; half-bred dry, good s£d to G|d, medium to s ; }d ; lambs', dry Gd per lb., green Is to Is 3d each ; pelts, 2gd, s£d, sfd, 6d each. Tho Melbourne manager o; the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand.(limited) reports of .the local grain market as follows :—Wheat, in fair demand, at 3s lOd to 3s lid; malting barley, 4s to 4s 6d, an improvement in the market; New Zealand oats, feeding sorts, 3s 9d to 3s lid, market flat and prices nominal; milling sorts, quieter and weaker at 3s lld to 4s Id; Now Zealand oats, under bond, 3s to 3s Id, prices barely maintained.
