CiiEisTcinmcH, This day,
The only movement made last night was the backing of Ugly Buck and Vanguard to win the Derby and New Zealand Gup. After a quantity of money had been taken at 100 to 4 and 100 to 6, tho best price on offer was 100 to 8. Ugly Buck would have been backed straight out, but most of the market had been secured at long odds, and he is now an equal favorite with Lady Evelyn at 4 to 1. Vanguard too, is the only one asked for the Cup, but 100 to 40 is the best price offered. Owing to heavy rain last night and this morning no training work was done.
