The entries for the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Society's show tire as follows:—Sheep r 331; cattle, 175 ; horses, 12T2; implements,. 272 ; other smaller items bringing the total to 1242. It is expected that additions in tho implement class will bring the total to 1300. The total last year was 1510. There is a falling off in sheep, Ayrshire cattle, and draught horses, principaly owing to,the absence of sevpral groat Otago breeders from the list of exhibitors.
