COMMERCIAL.
Mr M. R. Miller reports a small attendance at his sale at Hastings yesterday, and competition very slack. A few_ cattlo were sold, though at prices, considering their quality, far below the average. The following were the sales effected :—1 cow and calf at .£7 ; 2 cows at £6 10/- ; 1 cow and calf £5 5/- ; 1 do, £1 10 ; 1 cow, £4 5/-; 1 do, £4 ; 1 cow and calf, £1; 1 cow, £2 10/- ; 3 yearlings at £2 10 ; 5 do at 35,'-; 3do at 27..-. The draught horses, including the stallion Laird o' Stonebyres, aro open for private sale.
