OPPOSITION TO LICENSING BILL.

The Blue Ribbon Executive have sent the following telegram to the city members: —"Blue Ribbon Societies Union urge strenuous opposition to the compensation and optional endorsement clauses in Steward's Licensing Bill. Compensation means a largo and indefinite liability in restraint of popular control."
