(Received September 21, 10.5 p.m.) Melbourne, Wednesday. The Melbourne manager of the National Mortgage Agency Company of New Zealand reports of the local grain market as follows : —Wheat is firmer at 3/11 ; malting barley, 4/- to 4/7, market firmer; New Zealand oats, feeding sorts firm at 3.''3 to 3/G and in active demand, milling ditto 3/fl to 3/7, market improving; New Zealand oats, under bond, 2/10 to 3/-, with moderate enquiry. London, September 2-3. Consols have fallen to 101 g-. Now Zealand securities remain at tho following quotations: -Five percent. 10-40 loan, 104; five per cent. ISB9 loan, 100}; four per cent, inscribed stock, 10-U-. Tho breadstuff's market is unchanged. Adelaide wheat, ex-store, 30/- ; New Zealand ditto, 31/- to 31/- ; Adelaide flour, exwarehouse, 20/-. Australian tallow, average quality beef and mutton, 3-1/0. ___________
