Young Barber is a dark chesnut of great bono and substance, and fine temper, stands 15 hands 3 inches high, is lately from Otago, but his stock may be £ccn at Moteo and Taradale. Mr Anderson has sold most of his young stock at from £17 to £50, and several pairs at high figures. His sire, Bay Camden, Avas to Australia, and beat the celebrated mare BcesAving and many others; Avas never beat as a racehorse of his day; took three gold cups and medals in Christchurch, and Avhen taken to Otago took first prizes in Dunedin, Balclutha, and Tokomairiro. Young Barber is out of a marc got by Barber, a horse Avell knoAvn in Nelson and Christchurch. Barber's grandsire belonged to Auchinleck, and Avas bought by the King of Prussia for stud purposes.
