Entries and acceptances for tho Jockey Club's spring meeting next month close on Tuesday next. The Napier Orchestral Society give a popular concert in the Theatre Royal on Thursday evening next. At Mr M. R. Miller's laud sale on the 3rd October ho will submit, to competition a valuable property in tbc Puketapu district, Avith 5000 sheep".
