At the same time every facility will be given to opponents to express their views in the correspondence columns, even though those views may be antagonistic to the policy of the Paper, or to those of its Liberal supporters. Whilst the Paper will claim its right to discuss every public matter upon colonial grounds, it will nevertheless be found a staunch advocate of the Napier Breakwater, and of all other genuine local interests. The canvass already made justifies the Directors in the belief that the Paper will become a large Advertising Medium, and special facilities will.be given on liberal terms to Advertisers. The Paper will be an Evening Paper, and a Special Country Edition will be issued each day in time to catch the Evening Train. The proposed Capital of the Company, as shown above, is £10,000 in 10,000 shares of „1 each. This amount it is proposed to call up as follows, viz., 2s Gd per share on application, and 2s Gd per share on allotment.
