SAILOR'S COMPLAINT GROUNDLESS.

In the adjourned Latona case at Port Chalmers the sailmaker Avho had been sent to examine the sails declared that they were all iv fair condition. The Bench stated that they Avero of opinion that there Avere no grounds for the complaint as far as the sails Averc concerned, and ordered the accused sailors to be put on board and to pay the cost of the surveyors, £2 2s professional fees £2 2s and costs of Court £1. The Bench, however, Avould make no order for the expense of the detention of the vessel, as it had only been for one day.
