"\T7~HEREAS it is proved that no Valuayy tion List for the Hastings Town District has been prepared as required by "Tho Rating Act, 1870," notice is hereby given that I, the undersigned GEORGE AUGUSTUS PREECE, Judge of the Assessment Court for the said Hastings Town District, have appointed JOHN COLLINGE to be the Valuer to make such Valuation List, and I do further appoint FRIDAY, the first day of August, 1884, for the completion thereof, and I direct that the said List shall be open for public inspection at the Office of the Town Board at Hastings from the Ist day of August, 1884, to the first day of September, 1881, and that all objections thereto shall be delivered at the Police Station at Hastings on or before tho said first day of September, 1881, addressed to the Assessment Court. And I do further appoint a sitting of the said Assessment Court, for the hearing of the said objections, to be held at the office of the Town Board at Hastings on THURSDAY, tbe 18th day of September, 1884, at two o'clock in the afternoon.
