PORT OF NAPIER ARRIVALS. May. 28 Manaia, p.s., from Wairoa. Passengers—Mr and Mrs Richards, Mr and Mrs Hallett, Mr and Mrs Gimble, and Messrs A. Poyzer, Price, Leave, Walker, Baker, and Morrall, Master Walker, and eight natives. 2S—Mary Wadley, three-masted schooner, from Greymouth. 2S—Sir Donald, s.s., from the coast. _ Passengers—Messrs Miller and Proves. DEPARTURES. May. 2S— Bella, s.s*., for Wairoa. The p.s. Manaia. Capt. Baxter, returned from Wairoa at about 2 o'clock yesterday, bringing- a number of passengers. She will be leaving again for Wairoa at 12 o'clock to-night, if she can get her cargo in, in time. Mr J. H. Vaittier's three-masted schooner Mary Wadley, Capt. Moore, dropped anchor in the roadstead at 7 o'clock last night, after a smart run from Greymouth. She reports having left that port at midday on Saturday, beat through the Straits on Monday night, and from thence experienced heavy westerly and southerly weather to arrival. She vras towed inside and moored at the breastwork this morning, where she will discharge her cargo, consisting of coal and coke for her owner. The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross left Wellington for Northern ports _ at 5 o'clock last night, and should she arrive up to 6 o'clock to-night will be brought ■straight inside. She is to discharge her cargo inside to-morrow, and at 5 p.m. is announced to steam for Gisborne and Auckland. The Cross will probably be the bearer of the steamer Victory's immigrants and luggage. The s.s. Sir Donald, Capt. Quinlan, returned from Moeangiangi and Arapawanui at S o'clock last night, having landed her cargo at both places. She intended to have gone on as far as Waikave, but tho wind and sea that got up in the afternoon precluded all hope of being ablo to land at that place. The launch Bella, Capt. Green, steamed for Wairoa last night, taking a full cargo, and is telegraphed as having arrived at her destination at 7 a.m. this day. The Union Company's s.s. To Anau was to have left Auckland at midday to-day, being due here on her way for Southern ports and Melbourne at daylight on Saturday. The schooner Onward is ballasting to-day, preparatory to sailing for Kaipara.

IBY TELEGRAPH.] This day. Sailed, yesterday, now steamer Wairoa for Napier. Wellington, This day. Tho steamer Aorangi sailed for London via Rio do Janeiro at noon to-day. She takes 9000 carcasses of frozen mutton from here, and IGO passengers from all ports. Among her passengers are Mrs Atkinson (the wife of the Premier), Colonel Macartney, Drs Kemp and Muller, and Captain W. H. Colbeck.
