Wellington, This day.

At a meeting of the Salvation Army "to bring under the notice of the Christian public the desirability that a special effort be made to rescue the perishing," about one hundred were present, fully half of whom were ladies, Mr E. Baker, J.P., in the chair. A resolution was carried "that a committee be formed, consisting of six, for the purpose of aiding to rescue the fallen women of "Wellington."
