HEATY RECEPTION OF NEW ZEALAND FOOTBALLERS.
(Received May 27, 9.55 p.m.) SYDNEY. This day. Glorious weather is now being experienced. Mr Luscombe, a Protectionist candidate, has been elected member for the Northumberland constituency. (Received May 2S, noon.) Tho New Zealand footballers were accorded a hearty reception on landing yesterday from the steamship Hauroto. They play their first match to-day at Paramatta, where they proceeded this morning by water, accompanied by their opponents, who are the representatives of twenty local clubs.
