BRISBANE.
May 21. The Supreme Court has refused to readmit Mr Swanwick as a barrister. The Chief Justice commented strongly on his conduct. The Governor visited Maryborough, and has been received with enthusiasm. It is stated that Edwaid Trickett, the sculler, will probably settle at Rockhampton. Mr Garrick, the new Agent - General, leaves for London this week. Davis and M'Murdo, of tho labor schooner Stanley, will be sent to Fiji for trial on a charge of cruelty to natives. The premises of the Brisbane Courier and Queensland Observer aro now lit by electric light.
