TERRITORY OF DARFUR SURRENDERED TO MAHDITES.
(Received May 28, 1.20 p.m.) LONDON. May 27. In the House of Lords to-day Earl Granville, replying to a question, stated that parleying between England and France in connection with the projected European Conference was still proceeding, and the Government would inform Parliament of the result of the exchange of views before the meeting of the convention.
