NOTABILIA.

A grand race bill, "Withered Leaves" and "Cinderella," will be performed by the Willmott Company at the Theatre Royal to-night. Messrs Monteith and Co. sell by auction at 11.30 a.m. to-morrow, on the farm, near Taradale, the whole of Mr James Lawton's dairy stock, plant, and furniture, and the lease of 30 acres of land.

Tenders for the construction of dray roads between Okawa and Konini, and Konini and Mangawhare, will bo received at the H. B. County Council office up to noon to-morrow. The Hastings Town Board meet at the office of the Board to-morrow for the consideration of proposed bye-laws. The second term of the Stonebyres (Hastings) boarding and day school commences to-morrow.

The pianos and musical instruments to be sold by Mr Lyndon on Thursday without reserve will bo on view to-morrow morning. , • Messrs Monteith and Co. sell 400 canaries by auction at the Horse Bazaar on Wednesday. The Willmott Dramatic Company play in the Town Hall, Hastings, on Thursday evening. Two horses have been impounded at Taradale, and, unless redeemed, will be sold on 9th June. Mr D. C. Hitchman is selling lollies, &c, wholesale, at lowest rates, quality and purity guaranteed. A number of new advertisements will be found in our "Wanted" column.
