May 5. At to-day's wool sale 10,000 bales were catalogued. A good demand was experienced. Cross-breds are now £d above
the last sale prices. Fine qualities of greasy Merino show a slightly improved tendency. May G _ A report has reached here that the Grand Duke Ludwig of Hesse, the widower of the late Princess° Alice of Great Britain lias married the divorced wife ot a formei Secretary of the Russian Legation at Darmstadt.
