FIRES.
Auckland, This day. The residence of Mr Paul Pouchc, image maker, Parncll, wu? burned down curly yesterday morning. The stock and furniture were "insured in the North British office for £500. The house was owned by Mrs Bridgen, of Wellington, and was insured for £200 in the New Zealand office. The origin of the fire is unknown. Gisboenh, This day. Part of the house of Mr Lattlcy, surveyor, was burnt on Sunday. The loss is about £200, and the insurance £300 in the Imperial and £300 in the Norwich Union offices. CiiEiSTcnuECir, This day. A seven-roomed house in Tuam street, occupied by Mr Whitley and two sons with their families, was burned down last night about 7 o'clock. It was insured for £150 in the London and Lancashire office. The furniture of one of the sons was insured for £25 in the same office.
