PORT OF NAPIER DEPARTURES. April. 2G—Lizzie, cutter, for Auckland. Tho Union Company's steamer To Anau, which left Auckland at midday yesterday, is due iv our roadstead the first thing tomorrow, and after being tendered in the usual way for cargo and passengers will steam on hor course for Southern ports and Melbourne at 10 a.m. The cutter Lizzie, Captain McQuorney, sailed for Auckland at 8 o'clock this morning, taking 20 tons of bonedust, 7 tons of bones, and 3 tons of maize. The Union Company's steamer Southern Cross left Gisborne at 8 a.m. this day, and should roach hero by C or 7 o'clock to-night. She is to tako in a load of sheep for Lyttelton, and will if possible sail for that place direct to-morrow. Tho s.s. Kiwi loft Wellington for Castle Point and Napier at G o'clock last night, and will probably put in an appearance here by Monday morning. The launchßoojum was taken offJNorthe's slip this morning, after having been cleaned and painted. . . The Union Company's s.s. Manapouri is to leave Wellington at 5 or G o'clock tonight, and will in that caso reach hero by to-morrow forenoon. Sho will be tendered iv tho usual manner in the roadstead during the day, and at 5 p.m. her outward passengers for Northern ports are announced tolenvc the wharf, Tho p.s. Manaia had steam up in readiness to start for Wairoa this morning, but the report of the bar being still, unfavorable sho was obliged to blow down again. It will now probably bo Sunday night or Monday morning before she gets away. Notwithstanding the heavy sea running in the bay this week the ordinary operations of the port wero carried on as usual, the steamer Fairy taking off a largo load of wool and tallow to tho ship Northumberland during Wodnesday morning, and the steamer Sir Donald a like load on Thursday. The s.s. Weka only discharged some 200 frozen carcasses into the Northumberland on Wednesday, when the wire rope by which sho was lying parted. Since then tho ship has got a coir line for the use of tho Weka, and no further delay is anticipated. Tho schooner Eliza Firth sailed from Grcymouth yesterday with coals for tho Napier Gas Company.
