The Napier-Welling-ton Railway will pass within 5 miles of Block XI V\ Tho terminus of tho Railway when it reaches Taiioraite will be eight miles from Kumoroa. The main roads through the Block have been or are now being cleared of bush and formed for dray and horse traffic. The whole of the block is lightly timbered and contains some good agricultural and pastoral forest country. Tho soil is of a rich description overlying a marl and limestone formation.
