ROBBERY by a DOMESTIC SERVANT.

■ -iAt the Magistrate's Court to-day a domestic servant named Kerr was committed for ti-ial on a charge of stealingjewellery and money from the dwelling- of Mr Holt, Upper Willis strcot.,.. The accused had been engaged by Mr . Holt, but cix weeks ago was dismissed. She was seen loitering about tho neighborhood, and duriug tho temporary absence 'of the occupants she: entered the house and abstracted the;'jewel case. Kcrr was ' arrested just as she was leaving for Lytteltdn, and, among her effects was found a steerage ticket for London by tho lonic. Nearly the whole of : tho stolen property has been recovered. ;
