The accused had been engaged by Mr . Holt, but cix weeks ago was dismissed. She was seen loitering about tho neighborhood, and duriug tho temporary absence 'of the occupants she: entered the house and abstracted the;'jewel case. Kcrr was ' arrested just as she was leaving for Lytteltdn, and, among her effects was found a steerage ticket for London by tho lonic. Nearly the whole of : tho stolen property has been recovered. ;
