At the Magistrate's Court this morning the Wellington dentists proceeded against Dr Sinclair, dentist surgeon, for ■' travelling through the colony, on the grounds that he was not specially qualified under tho Dentist Act of 1880. Defendant's counsel asked for a remand, but this Avas opposed on behalf of the plaintiffs, who stated that since the information had been laid Dr Sinclair had lodg6d; his-diplomas with the Registrar-General, under Avhich. ho could bo duly registered, and they were quitd Avillin'g- to withdraw the information if Dr Sinclair Ayould' pay the costs.
