DEPARTURE. February. B—Maori, s.s., for Wairoa via the const. 9_Coquette, three-masted schooner, for Newcastle, New South YVales, via the Great Barrier. «. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Waihora, 1269 tons, Captain Edie, from Sydney via the North, arrived in the bay early this morning, and was tendered for her passengers, mails, and cargo (100 tons) as usual. Tho following is a report of her passage, kindly furnished by Mr Humphries, her purser :—Left Sydney on the Ist at 1 p.m., aud arrived at Auckland at 2 p.m. on tho 6th ; left on tho 7th at 2.30 p.m., and reached Gisborne at 6 p.m. on the Bth; left for Napier at 9.30 p.m., reaching the roadstead as above. The outward passengers are to go out at 2 p.m. this day, the steamer leaving for the South, Hoi art, and Melbourne shortly afterwards. Tho Union Company's sceamer Rotomahana, Captain Carey, from Melbourne, Southern ports, and Wellington, arrived here at 11.45 a.m. thin day, and was soon afterwards tendered for mails and passongers by the launch Boojum, but she had not re " turned inside up to the time our report left - tho Spit, so that we are unable to furnish our readers with her report and passenger list. The s.s. Maori, Capt. Anderson, left for Wairoa at 10 o'clock last night, taking a full cargo. She was to call on the coast on her way up. Tho three-masted schooner Coquetteo, Capt. Brown, sailed in ballast from the wharf for the Great Barrier, en route for Newcastle, Now South Wales, at noon today, 'where we believe she is to take in a cargo of timber for tho latter place. The steamer Kiwi was unable to finish discharging yesterday, so that her departure for Wellington and the const has been postponed till 4 o'clock this afternoon. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.
